Radiance, Resilience, and Restoration: A Nyasa & Nidra Experience for Body and Mind
Resilience is the combination of strength + flexibility.  Through Nyasa, gentle movements infused with intention, we will experience the flowy sensations of the second chakra and the powerful energy of the third chakra to build resilience and radiance.  These mind-body connections will continue to flourish in a delightfully restorative Yoga Nidra meditation to end the session.

FREE Teen/Kids Yoga Nidra
Teen/Children are invited to SDYC for this free Yoga Nidra session.  They can also stay for the Closing Meditation and Goodbye Ceremony!

The practice of yoga nidra provides a balance between the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems. In modern life, it is a practice that we all need, but it has proven to be especially beneficial for young adults. When Megan Jones created a yoga/mindfulness class for her 8th graders, she found that "yoga nidra Monday" was the most popular day among her students. The simple act of rolling out a mat and finding stillness was enthusiastically received by her students, and many continued the practice at home. Teens/Children are welcome to join for free for this restorative, rejuvenating hour.
